Christmas

Well we had a great Christmas!  Technically this was Tanner's second Christmas but really it was her first to get some real goodies from Santa.  Her favorite present so far is her baby piano.  I remember seeing pictures of me when I was around her age having a blast on a baby piano so this is the one thing that I was hoping Santa would bring her.  She cracks me up playing it.  Leave it to Tanner to come up with a one-of-a-kind way to play her piano........she plays with her butt!  She goes and sits on the keys and just bouces up and down playing while drinking her sippy cup.  She cracks me up!

She also likes her big brother's bean bag that he got from GiGi.  Cade on the other hand is not too excited about her interest in his bag and he is hoping she gets bored with it quick. 

SANTA

You guys are loving Christmas time this year.  Tanner, you say "ooooohhhhh" nonstop when you see lights, a tree, a santa, a snowman, really anything Christmas.  Cade, you are soooo much fun with everything related to Christmas right now.  I took you guys to see Santa at the Galleria a few weeks ago and Tanner was not a happy girl.  That's okay though.....Santa knows you love him!

Wow you guys are a mess

I knew it would be an adventure having two little ones running around the house but I never imagined it would be this much fun!  You and your brother are so funny and you guys get along so well.....with the exception of your little tantrums :)  Your brother loves to love on you and you are miss independent so sometimes you get a little annoyed with him.....I can't imagine what you guys will be like in 10 years.

Yay for teeth!

So now you are 13 months old and FINALLY getting teeth!  Actually you are getting quite a few teeth....five at once!  I guess they were just waiting until they were all ready to come to make their grand entrance. 

Top Tens

Here are some new top tens of my baby girl.  She changes so quickly that I figured this is the best way to keep up with the best of the best.

1.  I love how you and your brother have such an amazing bond. 
2. I love how you grab your own snacks out of the pantry and hand them to me until I open one for you.
3. I love how you wave bye-bye backwards and say "da-da".
4. I love how you are such a momma's girl.
5. I love how excited you get when you see me in the afternoons at school.  You walk as fast as you can with your hands in the air.
6. I love how you know when you are being mischiveous.......like when you feed the dog your food or when you stand up in the bathtub.
7. I love how you already get an attitude with your brother.  He loves rubbing on you and petting you like a little puppy and it drives you nuts :)
8. I love how you are so ready to learn new things.
9. I love how you act when I read you a book and how you turn the pages contantly....I still haven't figured out how to actually read you an entire book.
10. I love when you get tired and lay your head on my chest.  You are definitely not a cuddle bug but when you get tired all you want is your mommy.
