2 Huge Milestones!

Tanner has officially accomplished two major milestones.  #1 she has started crawling....she has been doing this for a few weeks but now she can book it and pull up.  #2 she has started eating people food.  Now that she has had a taste of the good stuff she refuses to eat baby food....such a diva!  She loves, loves, loves chicken salad.  I gave her some rice the other day and she made such a mess!  She kept stuffing it in her mouth....making only a few grains and dropping the rest.  I love this time as she is experimenting with everything, we are learning what she likes and doesn't like...though we haven't found much of the dislikes as she eats everything!

11 Months

Okay little lady......11 months old and NO TEETH!!! Poor thing!  Your gums are as swollen as they can be and you can tell that those teeth are trying to come through but no such luck.  You are still as happy as can be though!  Here are a few things that crack me up about you at this stage:

1.  You love, love, love your brother but you will yell at him in a second!  You two will be in the race car shopping cart and he will try to navigate your steering wheel....you scream at him like you actually know what you are saying.  You are definitely going to keep him on his toes.
2.  You love to clean!  I have never seen such but you will pick stuff up and everytime you get a papertowel you will just go around the floor wiping it clean.
3.  You sleep for 13 hrs straight!  Wow did me and your daddy not see this one coming?  You will go to sleep at 6:30 and sleep until 7:30 or 8.....then you take a two hour nap around 11. 
4. Since you don't have any teeth you can make these funny smacking noises with your lips.  It cracks me up and you look like a little old lady. 
5. You want to do everything your brother does.  You could care less what me and your daddy are doing if your brother is around.

The Beach!

The beach, the beach, the beach.....we're going to the beach.  Well, we actually just got back but we had such a great time.  Tanner was sooooo good and I could not have even thought of any way for her to have been better!  She slept in her pack n play on the beach for hours, played in it and just enjoyed being under the umbrella.

Happy 8 Months!!

Wow!  Where has the time gone??  You are now 8 months old and we have loved every minute of it!  You are now starting to crawl and get into EVERYTHING!!!!  I am going to be a nervous wreck for a while now.  You have headed straight for cabinets, drawers and plugs......like you have been eyeing  them for months just waiting to get mobil enough to reach them. 

Yay nan!!!  You are sitting up by yourself now!  You are seven months old and such a big girl!!!  And drumroll....you are FINALLY sleeping through the night!!!  It is like the day you turned seven months old you figured it was too much work to wake mommy up at night so you sleep from about seven at night until six in the morning!!!!

Tanner has started to try and hold her own bottle!  It is wayyyy too early for this and I am not ready!  It is the first sign of growing up to me so it makes me kinda sad.  She is four months already!

So now that Tanner has gotten a little personality, I think it is time to do my top tens.  With Cade I did my top ten favorite things about him at that time and it was fun to see how much he changes each time I did it so here we go!

1.  I love the way she smiles.  It melts my heart!

2.  I love how she smiles at me everytime I lay her on her changing table.

3.   I love how she holds my hand close to her chest when she is falling asleep.

4.  I love how she clasps her hands like she is praying sometimes when she sleeps.

5.   I love how she can also sleep with her hands straight in the air.

6.   I love how she kicks like crazy when she takes baths.

7.  I love how she has an excited squeal.

8.   I love how she tries sooooo hard to talk.  She shapes her mouth like she is going to be able to get those    words out that she wants to.

9.   I love how she watches her brother so closely and smiles at the sound of his voice.

10. I love how she is such a happy baby.
